April 1st is shaping up to be one of the biggest LEGO drop days of 2026. Eleven new sets across five themes, with price points ranging from a $15 postcard to a $220 Icons airplane. Whether you are a Star Wars collector bracing for the Mandalorian movie wave, an Ideas fan who has been waiting years for Tintin, or a nostalgic millennial who just wants to build four ninja turtles, there is something here for you.
We have reviewed every single set in this lineup. Here is the full breakdown, organized by theme, with links to our detailed reviews so you can decide which ones deserve your shelf space and your wallet.
Five sets tied to the upcoming Mandalorian and Grogu theatrical release. This is the biggest Star Wars drop of the spring, and LEGO has covered the full price spectrum from a $45 playset to a $150 ship.
75447 The Razor Crest - $149.99 - 930 pieces - Score: 8.22
The flagship of the wave. A new version of Din Djarin's iconic ship redesigned by Benjamin Liboriussen for the movie era. At 13 inches long, it is a serious display piece with film-accurate detailing and solid structural engineering. Not cheap, but this is the set most Mandalorian fans will reach for first.

75446 Grogu (Mandalorian Apprentice) - $129.99 - 1,200 pieces - Score: 8.26
A large-scale brick-built Grogu sculpture with display stand and nameplate. Think of this as the Baby Yoda equivalent of the helmet collection - a character sculpture that works as both a building project and a display piece. The ears alone are an engineering lesson.
75445 Anzellan Starship - $74.99 - 701 pieces - Score: 7.80
The mid-range option from the wave. A detailed ship build from the Mandalorian universe with strong display proportions and good minifigure selection. Solid value for Star Wars collectors who want more than a playset but are not ready to commit to the Razor Crest price point.

75460 New Republic X-Wing Starfighter - $69.99 - 558 pieces - Score: 8.10
A T-65 X-Wing in New Republic colors with convertible features. Another Liboriussen design with great proportions at the 12-inch wingspan scale. Includes droids and New Republic faction minifigures. If you collect X-Wings, this one brings something new to the shelf.
75444 AT-RT Attack - $44.99 - 297 pieces - Score: 7.30
The entry-level set of the wave. An AT-RT walker with blaster turret, Din Djarin, Grogu, and Imperial Remnant figures. This is a play-focused set aimed at younger builders, but the minifigure selection alone makes it worth a look for collectors. Best value for minifigs in the entire April lineup.
40856 The Mandalorian and Grogu: Allies and Villains - $39.99 - 661 pieces - Score: 7.46
Five BrickHeadz characters in one box: the Mandalorian, Grogu (with Beskar chest armor printing), Colonel Ward, an Anzellan, and an Imperial Remnant Snowtrooper. Two figures come in the smaller BrickHeadz scale, which adds variety. A fun companion set to the larger builds in the wave.
21367 Tintin Moon Rocket - $159.99 - 1,283 pieces - Score: 8.36
Ideas set number 75, designed by fan builder Tkel86. This is the red and white checkered rocket from Herge's "Destination Moon" and "Explorers on the Moon" - one of the most iconic spacecraft designs in all of comics. Includes Tintin, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, Thomson and Thompson, and Snowy the dog. At nearly 20 inches tall on its display stand, this is a centerpiece build that European comics fans have been requesting for years.
72050 Mario Kart - Luigi and Mach 8 - $179.99 - 2,234 pieces - Score: 8.12
The first 18+ Mario Kart set, and it is a big one. A large-scale brick-built Luigi character alongside the Mach 8 kart, complete with display stand. At over 2,200 pieces, this is a serious building project that translates Nintendo's art style into brick form. The character sculpting uses some clever color and angle work to capture Luigi's personality. A must for Nintendo collectors and a strong addition to any display shelf.
40878 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Figures - $39.99 - 567 pieces - Score: 7.58
Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello as BrickHeadz entries 301 through 304. Each turtle comes with their signature weapon, and Mikey gets a brick-built pizza because of course he does. This is the first TMNT LEGO product in 12 years, and it is a LEGO Store exclusive. The nostalgia factor is enormous, and at $10 per turtle it is hard to argue with the value.
40954 Germany Postcard - $14.99 - 240 pieces - Score: 7.56
The postcard series continues with Germany. Munich's New Town Hall, the Brandenburg Gate, a castle, a high-speed train, and a red car - all rendered in microscale on a postcard-format display. You get a choice between "Germany" and "Deutschland" stickers. If you collect postcards, this is an automatic add. If you do not, it is a perfect low-commitment impulse buy or gift.
Two more sets land just a few weeks after the April wave - the first entries in LEGO's new "Editions" line of buildable F1 helmets, both tied to Ferrari's historic 2026 driver pairing:
43014 Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet - $89.99 - 886 pieces - Score: 8.44 (May 1)
Leclerc's helmet faithfully recreated with his driver number 16, the prancing horse, and tributes to his father and Jules Bianchi. Features a brand new visor element and exclusive Leclerc minifigure. Read our review
43022 Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet - $89.99 - 884 pieces - Score: 8.44 (May 1)
Hamilton's first helmet in Ferrari red. His iconic number 44, signature plaque, and an exclusive minifigure in the Scuderia racing suit. A historic piece for any F1 collection. Read our review

If you can only pick one: the Tintin Moon Rocket is the standout. It is the kind of Ideas set that feels like a genuine passion project, and Herge fans have waited decades for this. The Razor Crest is the safe Star Wars pick. The TMNT BrickHeadz is the nostalgia play. And the Germany Postcard is the no-brainer impulse add to any order.
If you are going deep on the Mandalorian wave, start with the Grogu sculpture - it scored highest in the Star Wars lineup and doubles as a conversation piece that works even outside of a Star Wars display.
Whatever you choose, April 1st is going to be a good day to be a LEGO fan. Check all of our reviews for detailed breakdowns, or browse the full blog for more guides and comparisons.
